The Euphony of Fragmented Dreams

Eternal bliss in her arms,

Harboring her from all harms

Waking up to ogle at her ravishing smile,

Was something that would make my time worthwhile.

Her eyes rendered me speechless,

Her poised heart was my weakness.

Her hair swayed with the languid breeze,

As she seemed like a resplendent angel who caused time to freeze.

When she cradled my hand,

Life felt like a wonderland

Falling in love wasn’t something I desired

But the best things happen unplanned.

Harsh were the undoings of this jaded life,

Where she was stolen before she could be his wife.

The angels of death stabbed him in the back,

Now he lives hoping they meet in the afterlife.
