I wish I was Jack Skellington. To this day, ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ remains one of my favorite films.
Being a student, I’m often bored. There’s this thirst for adrenaline I can’t quite quench. Horror movies always succeed in providing that feeling, however, all one has to do to live through a terrifying experience vicariously is to imagine what it’s like being a starving child in Ethiopia, a drowning Syrian who had boarded a flimsy boat with the intention of reaching safer lands or a prisoner being given the capital punishment for something he hasn’t done.
Yes, the evidence is around us. Reality is horrifying. People just don’t realize it, and want to add shock value to it by dressing up as ghastly ghouls.
Sad isn’t it?
